Privacy notice
Site Visit Optimizer is field service scheduling software used by service organisations. Each organisation using the platform decides what it records about its own engineers, customers and sites, and is the data controller for that information. This page describes what the software processes on their behalf.
Account data: name, email address, phone number, role and organisation membership for managers and engineers.
Operational data: jobs, customers, sites, schedules, assignments, job reports and vehicle/travel logs.
Location and evidence data: site coordinates, engineer home or office start locations used for route planning, arrival check-ins, and the date-time and GPS stamp applied to photos captured in the field.
Photos captured by engineers are stamped with the capture date-time and GPS position only. No names, ticket numbers or other identifying text are burned into the image.
Photo files are stored in private storage and are only available to the uploading engineer, the engineer assigned to the job, and managers or administrators of the same organisation.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to receive a portable copy of it.
Contact the organisation you work with (the controller) to exercise these rights. Engineers with a platform account can send a request directly from the Privacy screen in the app. Requests are tracked with a one-month response deadline.
This notice describes how the software works. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace the privacy notice that your organisation publishes for its own staff and customers.
